RIGHT FOOT FORWARD art show

Presenting the RIGHT FOOT FORWARD benefit art show. During the Summer of 2009 Cover Skateshop was broken into, and their entire shoe inventory was robbed,leaving owner, Tommy Mot, with nothing but a wall full of right shoes. Tommy came up with the idea to give all the floor models to local artists for them to redesign and sell to benefit Covert. Some of the artists include Andrew Spear,Dolla Bill, Dres13, just to name a few. Fastforward to February 20, 2010 at Bold Hype art gallery where we see Covert fans here to support the shop. Big thanks to Covert Skateshop, Andrew Spear and all the contributing artists, and Bold Hype Gallery for hosting the event. Pictures of all the art work will be in another post.

Well we closed baby sister BETA due to a slow economy and brands opening questionable shops. But fear not all you Hundreds fans. COVERT has decided to carry the Hundreds torch. We just received the first batch of Johnson Mids in Black and Brown / Burgundy. We also have some left over tees from Beta. If you buy a pair of shoes I will discount a tee.

Right Foot Forward

February 20th is the opening of the RIGHT FOOT FORWARD art show at Bold Hype Gallery. Come see what 25 artists do to the display shoes left from a burglary last summer. The Covert skate team will be shredding some Skate Art from Team Payne.
Music will be provided by LT. SMASH. This is a sneak peak from Scott Scheidly's piece called Security. The show is going to be amazing. Please don't miss it.

ADIDAS Finally

After a momentary mix up, ADIDAS finally shipped. Unfortunately It is not our complete order. But everything looks good for the March shipment. Anyway here is what we were able to get our hands on. Campus Vulc Espresso, Campus Vulc
Black White re-up and the Skate in Silver. There is a little SKATE uprising happening. This shoe is supposed to be the next big ADIDAS style. Light with great board feel. Its also reasonably priced. So come and get it.

RIGHT FOOT FORWARD

On the night of August 18 2009 COVERT SKATE SHOP was robbed. An entire selection of shoes were taken, leaving only the 20 display shoes on the wall. To turn this tragedy into something positive we teamed up with BOLD HYPE GALLERY and gave these shoes to some of our favorite artists. The artists will be using these shoes as their canvas or inspiration in creating new pieces of work. On February 20th come see how this negative event in COVERT's history is turned into a positive with this one of a kind art show.

Some of the artists will be Andrew Spear, Dolla, Brice Stephens, Dustin Orlando, Charles Marklin, Dennis Hansbury, Jester,

January Nike Quick Strike

Well NIKE friends I have to say its a good day. We got 3 quick strikes in this week. 2 Dunk Highs and a Blazer.
The Comic Book dunk actually came in last week but my slow ass is just getting around to posting the picture. The second Dunk high and Blazer is from the LOST pack. Yeah Lost like the TV show. Enjoy.

JANUARY NIKE

Here is the first batch of January NIKE. The Classic High OX Blood starts us off. Im really into the Classic High. I cant wait to take my 9.5 home this week. Next is the Black / Gum Mid. We have been getting a lot of calls about this shoe. It is moving fast. We got a re up on the Black White Dunk High aka VENOM. The Bottom picture is the Blazer high Green Razzel. We are waiting on our Stefan Janoski's. Those will be here this week.

Im sure this happens at the most exclusive clubs. But now all I here about is being on a Golf Course and smoking weed. I guess Thats were all the weed smoking goes down now. So for all you weed smoking golfers out there who don't have a stick up there ass. I bring you the LIEGER tee.

HEEL BRUISE

In our never ending quest to find the newest and most legit brands. COVERT is proud to bring you HEEL BRUISE. HB is not another dumb ass skate brand or t shirt brand to be taken lightly. The line was started by Richard Mulder, Thomas Yu, and Roby Jeffers. The distribution is super tight and it is only sold to premiere skate shops in the country. Shops like Supreme, HUF and now COVERT! A little bit of history. Thomas YU the art director is from STUSSY and Richard Mulder was the first skater for STUSSY and NIKE sb. Below is some 1999 footy when he was pro for Chocolate. Below that is the first t-shirt to hit the wall from Heel Bruise. BTW Spring 2010 looks sick. (Im trying to get different pictures my wont load)
