Nike Quickstrike Wallenburg Low

Newly in at Covert we have the Wallenburg Dunk Low QS. Given the color-blocking and release timing of the pair, making the St. Patty’s Day connection seemed obvious, but the beer-drenched holiday actually has no bearing on the inspiration behind the colourway. The shoe is actually a tribute to a small pam tree that grew on the steps of the Wallenberg Four, a famous skate spot in San Francisco. The midsole represents the second step of the Wallenberg Four, with the dark-grey colored upper midsole assuming the role as the waxed ledge. The insoles are a close-up image of the tree that rooted itself in the historic skater landmark. Image and video hosting by TinyPic
