FUCT 12" classics contest

Ok friends check this out. If you think you got enough knowledge I need the names of all 12 record album covers used to make the FUCT design 12" classics. Covert Skate Shop and BOLD HYPE gallery are proud to bring you PUSHING VIII. PUSHING or PUSH PROJECT is a traveling art show from MANIK Skateboards. It travels from city to city all the while gaining new pieces from the host city's best artists. Come see DollA BILL, Andrew Spear, Brice Stephens,Dennis Hansbury and David Hoskins along side some of the countries best and brightest. The COVERT skate team will be on hand to film the event and have a demo. Limited edition tees will also be available. Dont miss this. Its definitely not you typical skateboard art show. Opening reciption is MAY 23rd.

RIPNDIP X SPEARLIFE Mural unveiling party

Andrew Spear, Simon Ondrek, and myself have been working
on a mural at mesh skatepark for little over a week now. Roughly 38
hours painting a 8ft high 35ft long 280sqft RIPNDIP X Spearlife mural!

There will be an unveiling party @ MESH the 30th 8pm - 12am. There's FREE beer, music, friends and good times, so come out drink
some brew and look at the artwork. Add event to FACEBOOK

Nike SB NITRAID Quickstrike!

Tomorrow, Saturday the 25th, the Nike SB Mid Elite "NITRAID" will be released. The shoe is a collaroration with japanese skate brand NITRAID. These shoes are super limited, so only 1 per customer. Here is the trailer for the video and a picture we found on google.

Fucking Awesome!

From the mind of Pro Skateboarder Jason Dill comes FUCKING AWESOME. Fucking Awesome is the newest brand to grace the shelves of our shop and also happens to be the most exclusive brand we carry. At the moment COVERT is the only retailer in Florida that carries Fucking Awesome. All designs are super limited and just flat out Fucking Awesome. Below are just two of the six designs we got shipped. Not pictured is the 3 of a KIND tee wich features a picture of Keith Richards, James Brown and John Belushi at Studio 54. Get Fuct

Ok now some of you might not know about FUCT. Well you should. Fuct is the brainchild of artist/graffiti writer Erik Brunetti (aka DEN ONE). It was created in 1991 out of Brunetti's Venice bedroom. His subversive style has influenced many of todays current brands. Especially BAPE. NIGO stole the ape logo from Eric. Anyway. Fuct is one of the sickest brands around and is also one of the most exclusive we carry at COVERT. Sizes are always limited. Below are just a few of the tees available for the Spring 09 line up.

Spearlife

For those of you who didn't know already, our wall out back now has a brand spankin new mural, courtesy of Andrew Spear. The Manticore is only one of Andrew's masterpieces. You can see tons of his other work at www.spearlife.com Andrew is one of the funniest guys you'll ever meet and his unique personality really shows in his work. Also if any of you guys have any pics from the Milk Shake feel free to post them up in the blog comments.

New Altamont Tees.

So a bunch of fresh new Altomont tees hit the shelf today. I was looking threw all of the new shirts and I stumbled across this one piece with a cardboard sign with a phone number right in the middle of it. So i'm wondering if this poor guy is still even in business. So I call him up thinking its going to be some old lady's number but to my surprise it was an actual back ally dog grooming business. Then I began to inform him on the situation and he tells me that the photos are almost 7 years old and he was the one who put the dead rat next to the sign in hopes of drumming up some business. Little did he know that years later it would end up on a widely distributed tee shirt. All throughout the day he continued harassing me for more information about the tee. All I could tell him was that the company is called Altamont and he just got more advertizing then any scribbled on sign. This photo was done by Boogie as well as a few more new tees that are just as sick. We also got some fresh Cut and Sew Pieces and shorts.
