Our dear Friend ANDREW SPEAR is having his first solo art show this Saturday Night at BOLD HYPE . You do not want to miss this show. You may have seen some of his murals in the City Arts building downtown. He did the MANTACOR piece on the back wall of Covert. He got a full page write up in this months Juxtapoz magazine. Andrew is killing it! Be on the look out for the Andrew Spear x Covert collaboration Skateboard Deck and Tees early 2010. There is an after Party at the Peacock Room. Yours truly, DJ MOT will be on the wheels of steel along side KITTYBAT.

NIKE SB December

December Nike sb has hit the shelves. First up is the Dunk Low. This is the first color-way by new Nike Team Rider ERIC KOSTON. Second is the black wool Janoski premium. The Skate Mental High looks amazing. My personal favorite
is the Classic High. And to round it off we have the Midnight Fog Bruin. The Bruin has been catching fire. A lot of kids are feeling it to skate in. Not shown is the new Veloce. There you have it. Come get some kicks for the holidays.







I searched for Eric Koston / Nike sb on Youtube. All I got was a bunch of bullshit. This was ok even though its a Fourstar promo. I also dropped his part from YEAH RIGHT. For those sneaker freakers out there who don't know, Eric Koston is pretty much the man...

Fresh Jive Hope is Fading Fast

Rick Klotz from Fresh Jive is up to his old tricks again. After beating on the Bush administration for 8 years he has now turned his attention to our boy OBAMA. Its not so much about our new president sucking. Its more about him continuing the policies of the last jerk in office BUSH. OBAMA needs a wake up call of sorts and Fresh Jive is more then happy to stoke that fire.

Benny Gold

This one could go either way. That is to say it could go on this blog (being primarily about skateboarding and this is a skateboarder) or over at The Beta Press (since Beta actually carries the Benny Gold line). But since the Beta site, for whatever reason, won't let me post videos, the choice was a no brainer.

"We Are Here To Help"

Our new shop board and t-shirt came in the other day. Its our second take on the O.G. Gun Guy logo. The boards are pressed in the good ol' U.S.A and the tees are on American Apparel. The feedback has been phenomenal so far. The shape is very similar to A GIRL / Chocolate but with a tad more concave. Definitely worth a try. Sizes are 7.6, 7.75, 7.8, 8 and 8.1.
8.25 are on there way next week. If you have not skated one yet. What are you waiting for?

We moved Rogue Status from BETA to Covert. Here is the first offering. Shoes. You wont find these in the mall. We are the only shop in town with these. We only got a size run so get here quick.

GIRL and CHOCOLATE

We just got in 75 boards from Girl and Chocolate. We cant even fit them all on the wall. Now is a good time for some wood. As a bonus I typed in Girl Skateboards, this is the first video that popped up.

Quick-Strike HUF Blazers and Gucci Dunk High

The phone has been ringing off the hook. Not sure if these kicks will last more then a day or two. The HUF Blazers have an Old School feel, all Canvas with retro tags. The t shirts and Truckers finish the kit. Can we take back the trucker hat now? I mean it is a DIRT BAG thing. Back to the issue at hand. November Nike

New Nike hit the shoe wall today. Bloody Gum Dunk High and the Janoski are sick. The Brown dunk mid is perfect for the fall. We also got the Black Bruin re-up and the new Red. The Bruin is looking good! Blazer USC and the P-Rod 3 black turquoise are fire.

Mighty Healthy

New Mighty Healthy hit the floor today. Disturbia looks like that RIHANA joint that went around the web a while back. Pirate Radio and Stripper are always in style. Limited supply. Come on...
