ANDREW SPEAR Follow Up

Just wanted to drop a few pictures from the Andrews Spear's art show. The exhibit will be up until January 9, 2010 at BOLD HYPE Gallery 1844 East Winter Park Street. Thanks to Dr. Lisa for the photos. The first photo is the initial piece of the show. Stevie in color. This piece was featured in Juxtapoz magazine. The next is the man of the Hour Andrew Spear. Last but not least you got me (MOT) and KITTYBAT. Not for nothing but we KILLED the after party. Hot Fire!!!! BTW we are doing it again this Saturday at Peacock. But I will save it for another post.

We just made the OBEY blog

I just want to thank everybody who came out to the OBEY party a couple weeks ago. The night was very cold with temperatures in the 30's. We were thinking of canceling the party at one point but that did not last long. The show must go on. Needless to say peeps came out and they were dressed properly. The music was superb. The night started off with J5M. then Lt. Smash hit the decks. Roam and Pubes from OBEY took us home. Pubes is my new favorite DJ. (We will see how long that lasts.) I just played a couple records in between all the serato computer changes. We also had a box of free gear from OBEY. Scotty from the hundreds was there but he was not dressed properly and left. GET MENTAL Friday Night @ SKY 60 BIRTHDAY EDITION

Ok friends of COVERT/BETA. We don't always promote our party's on the blog. (Im not sure why we don't) But this one we should all try to make. Its Tommy MOT's B-day bash at SKY 60. Its a 21 and up affair. Its going to the JUMP OFF this Friday. MOT will be 40....DAMN! 40! That greasy haired Dude has been drinking Jager, playing records, slinging skateboards and street-wear since some of you were born! He has put out 6 or 7 records, been signed to a multi album record deal (which abruptly feel through a year later when the label was sold) and went on tour with MOTLEY CRUE. (sounds like a where are they now episode on VH1) So come show some love for the man behind COVERT and BETA and have a drink or two. The music will be banging and the vibe will be tight. DJs on tap will be the GET MENTAL residents MOT and ANDREW SPEAR along side LT. SMASH and JFM.

Sky 60 is located between Tabu and The Social. There is a doorway that leads upstairs. Yes SKy 60 is a roof top bar.
