Nike SB NITRAID Quickstrike!

Tomorrow, Saturday the 25th, the Nike SB Mid Elite "NITRAID" will be released. The shoe is a collaroration with japanese skate brand NITRAID. These shoes are super limited, so only 1 per customer. Here is the trailer for the video and a picture we found on google.

Fucking Awesome!

From the mind of Pro Skateboarder Jason Dill comes FUCKING AWESOME. Fucking Awesome is the newest brand to grace the shelves of our shop and also happens to be the most exclusive brand we carry. At the moment COVERT is the only retailer in Florida that carries Fucking Awesome. All designs are super limited and just flat out Fucking Awesome. Get Fuct

Ok now some of you might not know about FUCT. Well you should. Fuct is the brainchild of artist/graffiti writer Erik Brunetti (aka DEN ONE). It was created in 1991 out of Brunetti's Venice bedroom. His subversive style has influenced many of todays current brands. Especially BAPE. NIGO stole the ape logo from Eric. Anyway. Fuct is one of the sickest brands around and is also one of the most exclusive we carry at COVERT. Sizes are always limited. Below are just a few of the tees available for the Spring 09 line up.

Spearlife

For those of you who didn't know already, our wall out back now has a brand spankin new mural, courtesy of Andrew Spear. The Manticore is only one of Andrew's masterpieces. You can see tons of his other work at www.spearlife.com Andrew is one of the funniest guys you'll ever meet and his unique personality really shows in his work. Also if any of you guys have any pics from the Milk Shake feel free to post them up in the blog comments.

New Altamont Tees.

So a bunch of fresh new Altomont tees hit the shelf today. I was looking threw all of the new shirts and I stumbled across this one piece with a cardboard sign with a phone number right in the middle of it. So i'm wondering if this poor guy is still even in business. So I call him up thinking its going to be some old lady's number but to my surprise it was an actual back ally dog grooming business. Then I began to inform him on the situation and he tells me that the photos are almost 7 years old and he was the one who put the dead rat next to the sign in hopes of drumming up some business. Little did he know that years later it would end up on a widely distributed tee shirt. All throughout the day he continued harassing me for more information about the tee. All I could tell him was that the company is called Altamont and he just got more advertizing then any scribbled on sign. This photo was done by Boogie as well as a few more new tees that are just as sick. We also got some fresh Cut and Sew Pieces and shorts.

March Nike Is In

The March shipment for nike has come in and there isn't a single dead shoe in the bunch. The general shipment was the Devil and Angel Low premium, Cappuccino Mid, Chicago Blazer, and the Blazer Low hybrid premium. The quickstrikes for this month are the Quagmire Dunk High Premium and Brooklyn Projects Dunk low Premium.

The new product for Manik is here and everything looks great, they have created shirt and boards line ups for both the Twin Peaks and Curt Cobain/ Henry Rollins designs. Sizes and quantities are limited and the boards would be a great addition to any collection.

The Wall

The old art up on our back wall is coming down and being prepped for a new piece by Orlando Local Andrew Spear. You can see some of Spear's works like portraits, illustrations, and other art pieces at spearlife.com . The new wall will be revealed at our Milk Shake Party on the 22nd of this month. More details on the wall and sale will be posted up at a later date.

I don't know about you, but I hate seeing people with my shoes! Luckily Supra has solved my problem with the incredibly exclusive, core shop only, Supra NS line. The February line up includes the Skytop, Strapped, and Trinity.
