Locals Only Skate Contest

Some of you might know I was a dj on the first couple of AST DEW TOURS. While I was there I convinced the staff to let me have a contest on the skateboard park course at AMWAY arena. So with a little help from our friends at MESH we started the LOCALS ONLY contest. Here is how it works. There is a Qualifier at MESH. The top finalists in that contest get to skate in the finals at the DEW TOUR alongside a representative from all the local skate shops. That way each shop in town has a finalist and gets represented. It is a super fun contest and its all for skateboarding in central florida. We have a ton of amazing talent here.
So below are the flyers to explain everything. One more thing the finals will be held when the gates are open at the AST DEW TOUR. That means the stands will be packed with a ton of fans cheering on all the skaters. FUCK HATE LETS SKATE!

I saw P.E. at JJ Whispers. Awesome show! Chuck D was in full effect (note the slang) and Flava Flav tripped on stage. Chuck chuckled a bit and Flava popped up like nothing happened. It was funny. Anyway they have been sampled a million times. P.E. represents hip hop the way it should be, raw and political! FIGHT the POWER!!! Here are some pics of the P.E. shirts. So here are some pics of the new shoes. The Lakai Mike Carroll election shoe is my favorite from PODIUM DIST right now but the Koston 1 is sneaking up as the next shoe to have. The blue with gum sole is a refreshing change from all the vulcanized soles plus its an old school color combo..

Not to be out done on the re-issue of classic skate shoe is the In4mation x SAL23 by Etnies. Again this shoe is killing it!!!!! Super clean!!!

Oh yeah then there is the nike sb august shoes. Dunk HI, Dunk MID, BLAZER HI, P-rod,Harbor and the Classic in yellow.
All really good color combos.
